What is Widget Works?

Widget Works is a safe environment for children, where they can go out, have fun, be active, and make memories. Widget Works goal is for the children of Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades,  and surrounding to have the opportunity to socialize with other peers who do not necessarily go to their same schools, parks, and extracurricular classes. It is very important to have a broad demographic of friends for future school transfers, networking, events, and overall socialization skills. Widget Works provides a safe environment where parents and children can feel a connection to the staff, mentors, teachers, and other youths in our community. Each skills class and outing is designed to be safe, fun filled, and a place where your child can make new and lasting friends and memories.

We solemnly swear to wear our sunscreen, be active, and help your child grow socially, responsibly, and respectfully. While these are just the baby steps of Widget Works, our end goal is to produce an environment in Santa Monica where our youth have the opportunity to explore their passions and talents. We want a one stop shop where kids can explore, discover, and excel in what drives them. We want a safe environment where parents know and trust that their child is safe and having a blast at the same time. We want it to be a laid back environment where our children are not afraid to try new things and there is no pressure to succeed or fail. Our end goals include tutors, sports, arts, and a mentoring system which is available at all times. Our priority is our youth and we know it is yours as well. Let’s build Widget Works together.
